A little introduction to our flower shop on Tisbury High Street in Wiltshire.
Flowers & Twine
Flowers and Twine, formerly known as Ted Martin Flowers was borne as Ted (after running the shop for 20 years) retired in November last year. Claire worked for Ted for many years, starting as a freelance florist and more recently becoming the manageress and now the proud owner of Flowers & Twine.
Our style of work in our little shop is country natural and seasonal with a use of locally grown flowers when available throughout the seasons.
Our bouquets are tied with natural twine wrapped in brown kraft paper and a raffia or ribbon bow
All packaging is recyclable as much as possible and we locally compost our flower/foliage stems and cardboard.
With more experience than most florists put together, there’s not much Claire doesn’t know about flowers and how to create beautiful designs and arrangements.
Claire started working in a flower shop whilst still at school before going on to a formal training and apprenticeship. Over the years she has worked for a number of well known florists in Wiltshire and Dorset before becoming the manageress and more recently, owner.
Over the years Claire has built a great rapport with many of our regular customers and account holders, getting to know their personal preferences and offering invaluable help with styling and colour choice for their homes.
